I had the privilege of doing an informational interview with Mrs. Perrett who is a director at thriveworx, a company that seeks to improve coffee growing communities in Central America through sustainable community development programs.

Miguel Rosas-Buendia - Georgia Institute of Technology

I also had the opportunity to interview Miguel Rosas-Buendia, a professor at Georgia Tech who teaches a Sustainable Development course. In his classes, he teaches about different concepts of sustainability and consequences of its absence.

Environmental Citizenship and Coffee Consumption

For my final project, I explain the concept of environmental citizenship in three spheres (individual, professional, and governmental) and the potential impacts of each, and then use this framework to analyze coffee consumption.
